Well, to the truth of it,maybe you folks that haven't enter NS will usually heard of many different opinions from your friends and buddies or relatives~
Some are positive feedbacks and mostly will be negative feedbacks.
Not that I'll wanna give racist comments but really, Chinese people mostly don't find this to be fun but there are them (like us) who find it to be entertaining though you'll felt you're tighten by heavy and nonsense rules, you still can get along in one great piece and back home with memories of touching tears.
1st of all : At there, during the classes, you'll need to think like a kid with the curious bits of mind cells in you. Play their games, always prepare to raise your hands when they ask for volunteers.
I'm not pleading you to get fame or name at there because there's no point being famous at there.
Be Active, Think Positive~!
2nd : Put away your saddening face out from the camp, and think like an adult (I bet you're no younger than 17 years old when you're in there, so think like one). If you're gonna put yourself aside and be a shadow then you're just wasting you're own time without making benefits because I believe most of them would say "I should be doing something else with more benefits like working or studying". Why rush?? Trust me, reality will make you sick because you'll have tons of years working out and why not take this 3 months as your full holiday of break.
Treat it like some discipline camp a'ight
3rd : For those who have weak physical, I'm be frankly tell you that it's time for you to make it a change or you'll prepare to fall. You'll be asking yourself "why the heck am I doing these stupid marchings?? This is nonsense!!".
Try look it at another way, if things simple as this you'll have problem doing or following, Are you really sure you're ready to face Reality?
4th : always mark in your very self that you're going home with something to tell and it's something that those who are not chosen will NEVER experience in their life.
Are you gonna tell them "I (pretend) sick everyday,so barely able to join those activities".
You'll be a joke for those who find out it's very entertaining. You're there to gain bits of experience before real life as an adult,so, try make full use of it.
5th : Last but not least, NEVER bring along your racist mind to there (anti-malay,anti-chinese,anti-indian,or anti-bullshit). Humans are all the same, just the race that makes things seems to be different. And always mark in your mind to persevere with anyone's attitude because everyone at there come from different background different identity, you can't be liked or you'll like everyone at there, there sure will be something not same and crash of ideas.
Just be patient and forget bout it. You want to have good days, make sure you yourself control your sivics then!!
Over and OUT~!!
